HOSSEGOR, FRANCE

Inner sovereignty is the capacity to stand firmly in who you are.

It grows when we care for the body.
When we listen to the breath.
When we choose routines that support clarity and balance.

In a world that constantly pulls us outward, many people lose connection with the practices that nourish them. Stress builds in the body, the mind becomes restless and self care becomes secondary.

Yoga offers a way back.

Through discipline and softness, through breath and movement, through reflection and community, we begin to restore the relationship with ourselves.

Inner Sovereignty is a four day retreat designed to help you reconnect with the foundations of wellbeing. Through the practices of Jivamukti Yoga, meditation, pranayama, kriyas, chanting, journaling and self inquiry, we cultivate the daily rituals that support strength, confidence and self respect.

Set in the peaceful landscapes of the Landes, only ten minutes from the ocean, this retreat invites you to slow down, reconnect with nature and experience self care as a practice that nourishes both body and mind.

Join us for four days of yoga, reflection, nature, rest and community.

Near the beaches of Hossegor, the space is held by tall pine trees, open skies and the calm rhythm of the surrounding land. Here, the days unfold gently between practice, rest and time outdoors.

The venue offers a swimming pool, sauna, hammam and jacuzzi, inviting the body to soften and restore between practices. The yoga shala opens onto the surrounding nature, creating a peaceful environment to move, breathe and settle into the present moment.

Rooms are shared between two or three participants, creating a warm and convivial atmosphere throughout the retreat. A limited number of private rooms are available with a supplement of 35€ per night.

Massage treatments are available upon request for those wishing to deepen relaxation and recovery.

Bicycles can be rented at the venue, offering the possibility to ride through the pine forest, visit the peaceful shores of Lac d'Hossegor or make your way toward the nearby ocean.

THE ART OF NOURRISHMENT

Simple, wholesome food is an essential part of the retreat experience.

Just as movement, breath and rest support our wellbeing, the way we nourish the body each day shapes how we feel, think and live. Food becomes one of the most direct ways we practice care for ourselves.

During the retreat, meals are vegetarian and prepared with love using fresh, local ingredients. The cuisine is simple, seasonal and nourishing.

In the morning, tea, coffee, fruits and nuts are available for those who wish, though it is recommended to approach the first practices of the day with an empty belly, allowing the body to move and breathe with lightness.

After the morning practices, we gather for a generous brunch. Fruits, nuts, tea and coffee remain available throughout the day, and in the evening we come together again for a warm and grounding dinner.

These shared meals become part of the rhythm of the retreat. Moments to slow down, nourish the body and remember that self care is built through the simple choices we repeat each day.

Please let us know upon booking if you have any allergies or dietary preferences so we can accommodate your needs.

What's not included

✘ Flights, travel insurance and transportation to the venue.
✘ Massages are available upon request and not included in the retreat price.
✘ Surf to the nearby beaches is optional.

✘ Bike to the Hossegor lake is optional.

MINERVA LA ROSA

JIVAMUKTI YOGA TEACHER, MENTOR FOR YOGA TEACHERS AND TRANSFORMATIONAL COACH

Minerva La Rosa is an international Jivamukti Yoga teacher with nearly a decade of teaching experience.

Born in Venezuela and shaped by a life lived across different cultures, her path has led her to share yoga as a practice of embodiment, resilience and transformation.

After teaching for more than four years in Marseille, she felt the call to expand her teaching beyond borders. She began teaching internationally in places such as Spain, Thailand and Sweden, guiding students and yoga teachers from many different backgrounds.

Her teaching is rooted in the Jivamukti Yoga method, integrating asana, meditation, breathwork, chanting and philosophy. Through these practices she creates spaces that are both grounding and transformative, inviting students to reconnect with themselves through discipline, devotion and self inquiry.

Minerva also has a background in trauma informed yoga and a deep interest in understanding how past experiences shape our body, mind and behaviours. She is passionate about transforming the imprint of the past into fertile ground for growth through daily routines that support physical, mental and emotional wellbeing. This perspective also informs her work as a transformational coach.

Now back in France and freshly based in Bordeaux, she continues to teach, mentor yoga teachers and create spaces for deeper exploration through group classes, retreats, individual sessions and coaching programs.

A lifelong learner, Minerva is deeply curious about the practices and habits that support a balanced, meaningful and joyful life.

Through her classes, mentorship and retreats, she invites others to cultivate the same path of care, discipline and inner sovereignty.

ROOMS

The rooms are designed as a space to land, rest and be held after the practices of the day. Inspired by a Balinese aesthetic, the atmosphere is warm, soft and grounded, inviting the body to unwind and the mind to settle.

Rooms are shared between two to three participants, each with their own single bed. These shared spaces offer a quiet sense of connection, where presence is simple and natural.

For those who wish for more privacy, a limited number of single rooms are available with a supplement of 35€ per night.

BOOKING

The retreat investment is 880€, with an early bird rate of 780€ available until April 20th.

To confirm your place, a non refundable deposit of 480€ is required. The remaining balance is to be completed by May 15th.

Once your place is reserved, you will receive all practical information for the retreat. A WhatsApp group will be created beforehand, allowing the group to connect and gently arrive into the experience together.
